We have been on the road for a little over two weeks. Charlie, Chris, Jules, Sid and I are staying in State College, PA right now. We are training and hanging out as a team while we wait for this weekends Charm City Cyclocross race to approach in Baltimore, Maryland. Our first stop on the road was in Roanoke, Virginia where we kicked off the season with a strong weekend for the team. In the Elite Women's field we had Sid finish in 4th place both days and I finished 14th day one and 8th day two. Jules rounded us out with a 7th on day one and 10th on day two. Everyone earned points! We stayed in a cute little mountain house with no WIFI next to a great trail system. After the weekend was over we drove down to North Carolina in Chapel Hill at Jules's family's house to spend the next couple of days before heading back up to hit Rochester Cyclocross in Rochester, NY. Jules has a dog named Luna and she is a whippet, Luna is our new team dog/mascot. We made our way to NY for the weekend where Sid outdid the last weekend with a pair of 3rd places in the Elite women's race where she rounded out a Canadian sweep on day two. I placed 6th on day one and 5th on day two. Jules took 6th on day one and 11th on day two as the rain fell hard and made the track a slippery and muddy. On Monday the 25th we drove the team van down to PA and have been training on the fun roads here. On Friday we will make our way to Baltimore to finish off this three week trip.
